Gene Autry

Since 1971, the Orange County Youth Sports Foundation has enjoyed a proud tradition of celebrating the accomplishments of sports figures of local or national prominence as a means of helping the boys and girls and young men and women of our community.

Our annual banquet has brought together some of the greatest names in sports to share in the always
irreverent and hilarious roasting of the Sportsman of the Year.

John McKay

As Orange County has grown, so has the scope of our banquet. We have broadened our criteria to honor national sports figures who enjoy a strong Southern California following.

Our focus in bestowing our awards is to recognize those accomplishments and sportsmanship over long careers which serve as an example for us and our children.
